The Late-Identified Neurodivergent Book Club at Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library is a monthly program designed for neurodivergent adults—especially those who discovered their neurodivergence later in life—to connect, share stories, and explore literature in a supportive, affirming space. Through thoughtfully selected titles and low-pressure discussions, participants build community, gain insight, and celebrate their identities together.

Michelle Thompson (she/her) has worked at the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library since 2018, where she creates programs that build connection and community. She started the Late-Identified Neurodivergent Book Club to offer a space where neurodivergent adults can share stories, explore books, and feel seen. Before joining the library world, Michelle worked in book publishing and communication design, and she still loves a well-set page.
