Are you a library manager or staff member who may be called on to cover a storytime with little notice? Are you a new youth services staff member planning your first storytimes – or just need a storytime refresher? Then this webinar is for you!  Learn the basics of planning and presenting a storytime including different formats, presentation styles, best book choices, music selection and learning activity ideas. We will discuss what is developmentally appropriate for each age group and give a brief introduction to the five practices from the Every Child Ready to Read initiative.  This session will provide multiple resources and basic information to allow attendees to begin to build a strong foundation for their storytime programs. This will be a 90 minute webinar.
